Ottawa Veg Fest 2012
Day: Sunday April 29, 2012
Time: 10am-5pm
Location: 175 Third Ave - Glebe Community Centre
FREE ADMISSION!!
Ottawa Veg Fest is back for 2012, and it's bigger and better than ever.
The National Capital Vegetarian Association (NCVA) is taking it to the streets on April 29; that’s right, in addition to its usual awesomeness, Veg Fest will be expanding outside of the Glebe Community Centre, onto the street, and into a nearby school where guest speakers will have an expanded venue.
Why? With nearly 3,000 visitors revelling in the wonders of the vegan lifestyle last year, the event was such a runaway success that an expansion was unavoidable.
The event will take place on Sunday, April 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Glebe Community Centre, 175 Third Avenue. Everyone is welcome, admission is free and parking is available nearby.
Not veg yet? No need to worry, everyone is welcome! Whether you're already vegan or vegetarian, or just interested in learning more about the lifestyle or eating some really delicious food, there's no better place to do so than at Ottawa Veg Fest, sponsored by The Table Vegetarian Restaurant and organized by the NCVA.
There will be fabulous exhibitors and free samples. The NCVA mascots, the cow, the carrot, the pea, and planet earth will make the rounds for photo ops. A silent auction will once again raise money to support the NCVA’s activities, and this year, the NCVA is introducing a 31-day vegan challenge, which will launch at Veg Fest.
We are counting on you all to cross post, tweet, and share the heck out of Veg Fest so that there is a crowd to match the expanded venue. Veg Fest can only succeed with community support- help us hit 4,000 visitors for 2012!
